TAROT CARDS:

Tarot is simply an impressive game of cards originating from renaissance Italy. Fortunately for us, its beauty & its scope make it a wonderful tool for divination.

The tarot deck consists of 78 cards which are broken in to 22 major arcana and 56 minor arcana.

Tarot cards have been used for divination pretty much throughout their known history, and this is still their main application today. It is by no means their only use. Their esoteric links, particularly with the kabbalah, can enrich spiritual study and mediation, and they also have psychological applications, all of which makes them a valuable tool in the vital-search for self knowledge.

CARTOUCHE CARDS:

The initiation of Egyptian symbols brings about a state of heightened awareness and clarity. There are 24 initiations in to the ancient archetypal universal symbols from Egypt which can enhance healing powers and psychic development. Cartouche is the oval in which the hieroglyphs are drawn.

RUNES:

Runes are a method of divination similar to the tarot or the iching. The difference is that runes are a set of 24/25 stones instead of 78 cards or a set of sticks with patterns. As with the tarot, most of the Runes may be right side up, or upside down, the meaning differing with the case. There are also some Runes that can not appear upside down.

The earliest runic inscriptions were certainly not coherent texts of any length, but simple markings on artifacts (e.g. - coins, combs etc.), giving the name of either the craftsman or the proprietor or sometimes, remaining a linguistic mystery. Because of this, it is possible that the early runes were not so much used as simple writing systems but rather as magical signs to be used as simple writing systems, but rather as magical signs to be used for charms, or for divination. The name rune itself, taken to mean “secret, something hidden”, seems to indicate that knowledge of the runes was originally considered esoteric, or restricted to an elite.

CARTOMANCY:

Cartomancy is a divination tool where by playing cards are used, and is similar to tarot reading. The cards provided here are over 100 years old.

Cartomancy is the art of reading cards to gain insight in to future events. There are special kinds of cards designed especially for this purpose called tarot cards.

DOMINOES:

Dominoes generally refer to the collective gaming pieces making up a domino set (sometimes called a deck or pack) or to the subcategory of tile games played with domino pieces. In the area of mathematical tiling and polyominoes, the word domino often refers to any rectangle formed from joinin two congruent squares edge to edge.

Besides playing games, another use of dominoes is the domino show, which involves standing them on end in long lines. So that when the 1st tile is toppled, it topples the 2nd, which topples the 3rd etc. resulting in all of the tiles falling. By analogy, the phomenon of small events causing similar events leading to eventual catastrophe is called domino effects.
